Our client, one of the UK`s leading travel company`s, are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to help over see their busy office in Edinburgh. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in retail travel of which 12 months must have been in a man-management role. As Assistant Manager you will be required to deputise for the branch manager in their absence and help to manage, motivate and train a team of experienced consultants. As this is a very `hands on` position, you must also have proven sales experience and have the ability to book all areas of travel including package holidays, charter flights, cruises and city breaks. Previous experience of dynamic packaging with flights, hotels and car hire would also prove an advantage, as well as experience booking long-haul or worldwide travel. In return you can expect an excellent basic salary plus bonus and benefits and the opportunity to work sociable hours Monday - Saturday 09:00 - 17:30.
